Dedicated to the memory of the late Brian Archer who fulfilled his dream to re-create John Sprinzel's Sebring Sprite Coupé

Frogeye Sprite body shells from Frogeye Spares

New Manufacturers of the Wheeler & Davies Frogeye Body Shells!

Sincere thanks and Best wishes!

The amazing Brian Wheeler, who virtually single-handedly buiFrogeye Spareslt a jig to produce replacement body shells, so enabling a great many enthusiasts to re-build their Frogeyes or build alternatives such as the Archer Sebring Sprite, has decided to hang up his welding goggles and retire.

Fortunately, Brian’s knowledge and skills are being passed onto a new generation of classic car specialists and enthusiasts! North West entrepreneur and owner of a specialist Frogeye parts business and a classic car restoration company, Mike Marczynski, has struck a deal with Brian and production has been transferred to their workshops in Manchester.

A number of Mike’s employees and Manager, Mark Jayes, have trained with Brian at his premises in Wolvey to ensure continuity and quality.
“We are absolutely thrilled and delighted to have made this purchase” says Mike, “We will work with Brian and all the same equipment and suppliers to make sure the move is seamless and professional”

Frogeye Spares specialises in new and used parts for Austin Healey MK 1 ‘Frogeye Sprites’, later Sprites and their cousins the MG Midgets in the UK and across the world.  Classicarco is a combined restoration, repair and servicing company with over 80 years of total classic car experience amongst its staff.

Frogeye Spares is part of the Classicarco business and along with the Wheeler & Davies bodyshell operation, is now well placed to offer, not only body shells and parts, but also any servicing, repairs and restoration of the Sprite or Midget!

The following Body Shell Stages are available to order:

Stage 1 plus rear shroud and rear wings fitted. The advantage of this stage is that no welding is needed and only requires the bonnet and doors to be fitted to it. Price: £5380 + VAT
Stage 2 plus bonnet and doors. This stage is the complete bodyshell. Price: £7855 + VAT

Prices are up to date January 1st, 2015.
