Dedicated to the memory of the late Brian Archer who fulfilled his dream to re-create John Sprinzel's Sebring Sprite Coupé

9888 AC

Austin-Healey Sprite 9888AC was built on 18th/19th August 1959 and registered by the Donald Healey Motor Company in Warwick on 8th September 1959. The car was converted to full 'Sebring' spec for its first owner, Ian Andrews. The engine was tuned to Stage 5 with LCB exhaust system and it was fitted with Girling disc brakes and wire wheels. It also had a Donald Healey Works hardtop and wood rim steering wheel.

After passing through the hands of eight owners, the car was bought by Peter Seamen in September 1975.

It was 1983 before the car was restored and back in action. Sebring Sprite 9888AC has not been seen on the road for some years.
