“I am a student who having grown up around classic cars courtesy of my dad in my formative years, has been firmly bitten by the classic car bug! I have a particular fondness for MG’s with my first love being the MGB GT then shortly thereafter the MG Midget. I share great affinity to the marque for several reasons in the upper generations of my family, my uncle having had a TC back ‘in the day’. The Sebring Sprite website is subject of great fascination for me, learning about the Spridget derivatives in period and the continuation cars of today, is absolutely enthralling. As such it is one of my favourite websites, well done Martin Ingall for running it. Of course this message has a somewhat dual-purpose, the second function is that I am on the lookout to make my first independent purchase of a MG Midget/Sprite, my only requirements are that it has to be in solid, preferably roadworthy condition, though a light recommission is something I would not shy away from. I am in the UK. If I could kindly ask for Martin to put this up on the website it would be greatly appreciated. It is my hope in the future that I might semi-convert such a car into a speedwell replica, or a hybrid of a certain kind, as with spridgets I am aware the possibilities are almost unbounded. Private Message me if you think you have or know of something suitable. Kind regards, Michael John Hudson”
