Last Week we had the pleasure of a visit from Kees Van Beijmerwerdt and his brother, Bert, who were on their way to the ferry at Newcastle after visiting Halls Garage, Bourne and a Sprite friend in Carlisle. Kees is currently building a Mark 1 Sprite with original Ashley bonnet and hardtop which he picked up in his home country, the Netherlands. At Halls they saw my former project – the replica of the Jacobs Midget, now beautifully finished. I even brought JJO out of hibernation for the occasion which was very enjoyable.
