Jonathan Whitehouse-Bird has kindly sent me “some images from the recent blue plaque unveiling ceremony at Healey Court, Warwick, on Saturday 3rd July 2021, followed by a small gathering of Healey cars and invited guests at, what once had been, ‘The Millwright Arms’ public house opposite (now named ‘The Black Pug’).

The plaque highlights the former site of the Donald Healey Motor Co Ltd showroom (the old cinema) at Coten End. The company moved to this location, from ‘The Cape’, Warwick, during 1963.

Sadly, the original building was demolished during the mid-1980s.

In addition, on the following day, Sunday 4th July, a gathering of all types of Healey cars took place at the British Motor Museum, Gaydon. The focus of the event was the 60th anniversary of the Mk.II Sprite”.
