“I have some more info from Mark Davies of Jacob Engineering in Gloucestershire about their Austin- Healey DHMC replica steering wheels that they manufacture, see their website. They can make a boss for a Frogeye (so fits a MkII Sprite/MkI Midget too) and the steering wheels come in 15 inch diameter (not 15.5 inch of the Sprite originals). For the leather rimmed version, shown on their website, price is £295 for the steering wheel plus £95 for the steering wheel boss; £595 for the beech wood rimmed version including the boss. The standard steering wheel centre including horn push fits – they can supply one of these if required for an additional cost. I quite fancy a leather one, not quite original Sebring fit as not wood-rimmed and of slightly smaller diameter, but would be a good option for me for hillclimb/racing. Nice to have the choice of a UK-made wheel”.
