HOW ABOUT THIS FOR A RARE ONE?
Alex Hazlewood recently acquired these AG Thorpe front and rear panels off ebay and fitted them to his Spridget which he runs in the Scottish hill-climbs and sprint circuit. I’ve seen plenty of bonnets but never a rear like that! Pretty isn’t it.
PHIL GARDNER’S COUPE NEARS COMPLETION
Since these photos were taken “the car is now all but complete and running”. Like others Phil is having some difficulty getting hold of side-screens. I know Andrew has difficulty finding time to make them and wonder if we can find some small firm to do so.
Graham Bish spotted the ex Hugh Sutherland/Phillip Stiles car from Sebring 1959 looking as good as ever, at the “Classics on the Common” meet last Wednesday. The dash now sports a brass plaque proclaiming its provenance, and a picture from this website was also displayed.
[If anyone is in touch with the owner I still don’t have his name or contact details please.]
