Alexander anti-roll bar
[Kindly supplied by
Ron Edwards]
The newly restored Alexander GT of Paul Freeman
Alan Anstead, with his usual enginuity, has recently effected a repair to Ron Edwards’ Alexander inlet manifold. The original had separate mounting plates with rubber ‘O’ rings to seal the unions which, over time, inevitably leaked. Alan sawed the ends off a BMC manifold and had them TIG welded on to the original manifold, which Ron can now use with the period Strombergs.
He now needs the matching Alexander airbox – anyone got one lying about?
